Look nice and pig out too

Forever21, H&M, WinnersMulti-stranded necklace: Forever 21
White tank: RW&Co
Dress: Winners
Boyfriend cardigan: Urban Outfitters
Black tights: H&M

I wore this outfit to a birthday party last month at the Keg. I love animals, but I love steak more and I especially love the Keg's garlic mashed potatoes, so I knew I would certainly be pigging out this night, thus I needed an outfit that would look hot, would segue nicely from restaurant to potential clubbing outing post-dinner, AND allow me to eat as much as I wanted! High requirements, I know. The solution? A long cardigan keeps my arms warm and hides a stuffed stomach, while giving the outfit a casual feel. The dress and jewellery make the outfit club-ready, yet still classy enough for a birthday dinner. I love how this outfit made me feel; it was comfortable, sophisticated, and modern - I just want to wear this everyday!

Haha I'm already strategizing for a "look good and pig out too" outfit for our Dine Out Vancouver/Tunnel night! I love how you used all neutrals in this outfit and the overall effect has warmth and dimension.

@Emerald Dandy: Not even!!! It was a guy's bday party so he ended up just wanting to chill and play video games until 4am! what a waste of an outfit I swear.

@Lisa: Hmm maybe I shoudl wear it out to our Dine Out night!!

P.S. In regards to your comment, my father totally wears socks with sandals! No one can cure him of it. :)

hahahha! i love versitile outfits!! and i know that "stuffed stomach" feel. i bought my first pair of skinny jeans today and i totally have a "muffin top", but my rational behind buying them is that long cardigans/tanktops are in style right now and are perfect for hiding the post-keg bulge

That is an awesome outfit. I really dig your sense of style. I usually go the other way when going out for a meal - like I will wear a corset,or my Cheap Monday super tight skinnys so I won't/can't over-indulge. Corsets are an added bonus because they make your waist look super tiny.

We need a Forever 21 here. Ideally before I move to Italy.
