If you're like me, and are perennially stuck for ideas, then here's a gift guide that may help you get inspired! Thanks to SomeoneSpoilMe.com, this gift guide is full of cute, helpful, gift ideas for Mother's Day and if you purchase an item online using the discount code SPOILME, then you'll get 20% off your purchase!
Here's a few of the goodies I'm considering for my own mommy:
Get crafty and create your own photo set! You can personalize it with childhood memories, or use a cool funky graphic print to jazz up your mom's living room.
I love the perfect smoothness of this cake, and a gorgeous cake like this one is a lasting memory to the heart and to the stomach!
Every woman, no matter how tomboy-ish loves a good pampering! Moms are always putting everyone but themselves first, so give her a treat with some divine smelling beauty products. Add some candles and a good romance novel, and you'll certainly rack up the brownie points over your siblings.
Finally, if you're really wanting to splurge, then purchase a beautifully classic piece of jewelery like this engraved locket. Inside you can put pictures of yourself and your mom as that perfect, heartfelt touch. Aww, how warm and fuzzy!
In other news, ShopItToMe.com is having a very cool giveaway! In celebration of the finale of the series Running in Heels, they are giving away 5 free 1-year subscriptions to Marie Claire! All you have to do to enter, is go here and comment on the post! Winners are picked May 1st, so you better enter quick!

That cheesecake looks as good as it probably tastes. Yum!
I can never think of what to buy my mom...I think I might just treat the family to a dim sum brunch instead as my Mother's Day present.
My mom needs clothes ASAP but gets so annoyed when I spend money on her. I recently got her a vintage Chanel blouse which she seemed to appreciate though :) Great post and ideas!
ah... i need to think of something for mother's day !

Thanks for this post! Must rack my brains on what to get my mom (who's actually visiting from Brazil), and then one week later, will have to repeat the process, as it'll be her b'day! :)
xx
@Lisa: Mmm Mother's Day dim sum sounds so good! I think your mum would appreciate that more too than a cake ;)
@Brigadeiro: Your welcome! Haha maybe you can combine her gifts into 1 super gift!
Great gift choices! Especially love the locket. Unfortunately my mom's more into diamond jewelry which I can't really afford ;-) I usually tend to treat her to a meal as she actually has too much stuff already!
Lovely gifts! I usually get my mom a flower to plant in her garden, but maybe I'll find something more interesting next year( we celebrate mother's day on 1 March)
I know this is an old topic, but I was hoping that you saw lollia life in Vancouver somewhere! I've been searching for a local store that carries their fragrances! Thanks for any info at all :-)
@Anon: sorry, it doesn't look like Lollia sells in Vancouver, boourns BUT they do have a place that sells them in Pt. Roberts which is basically near Surrey! http://www.lollialife.com/store_locator?state=WA
