Picking this sweater up at Gap a few months ago was such a great idea as its now become one of my favourite items! The color is a great vibrant purple and is of the softest knit that almost makes it feel like cashmere (but for the price it most certainly isn't!). This photo looks over-exposed, but the light at the time was actually a very pure white, which incidentally is a great contrast to purple! I love a nice, soft, white light that illuminates, but doesn't make you squint like full-on sunshine will do.
In other news, I recently received this press release for a new-ish online boutique called Eye Candy Buy Candy. Thanks guys for loving the gladiators! I get so many comments on them it makes me wish I'd bought 2 pairs. Sad to say, but I bought these babies in Taiwan so they're not available in NA.

P.S. Ease your way into nudes by starting with some accessories, like a handbag and shoes, then maybe a pencil skirt paired with something bright - hope this helps!
