Gladiators: from Taiwan
Today I was really feeling soft, muted colours, and a loose silhouette. The soft tones of grey, pink, blue, and white were perfect for this mood. I'm not sure I would have paired the gladiators with this outfit a second time around since the dark brown straps might be too much for such a subdued outfit - have any suggestions for shoe wear?

The gladiators aren't too overwhelming; sometimes I like wearing soft colours and a strong shoe to anchor the look. If you wanted to keep things light and airy, though, what about your white peep-toe sandals?
I do like the glads! Brown is better than black, but nude or pink would be awesome. Or tan!
RE: I don't rent, I still own the apartment but I am renting it out to a couple for $1100. It's pricey but that's pretty much my mortgage, my (high) maintanence fees and utilities.

If you think the dark brown gladiators are a bit much, I'd say maybe some plain, round toe flats would probably pull the look together quite well.

Cute outfit! I think the gladiators work, but I think the outfit is pretty versatile for any footwear. You could also pair it with ballerinas or wedge sandals for a different effect.
