This weekend was nice and relaxing, just the thing I needed. Saw Post Grad on Friday (definitely a rental) and marvelled at how blue Alexis Bledel's eyes were (so jealous), then Saturday went for dim sum with some fellow bloggers, a birthday BBQ, then clubbing with the boy and his friends. Do you think that partying with the signficant other is a good idea? Some say that it is not as you cannot have as much fun with them as you could without them, which to me sorta implies that you are doing something that you would not want your partner to see. I think you could have just as much fun, but admittedly you might refrain from going as crazy as you might simply because you don't want them to see you, well, acting stupid. Not that I do anything stupid when I go out, of course.

i think you just have a different experience when you go out with a significant other. but it also depends on the dynamic of your relationship. you don't want to feel like you're babysitting them. i recently went out with my bf andhis friends and had an ok time (only because i didn't know ANYONE - which is awkward) but a better time than i'd had eith any other guy i'd been dating.

used to think ruffles were too girly, but now i find them delightfully feminine :)

I love that plaid shirt, the ruffles make it so fun! I almost always go out with B unless it's supposed to be a girls night or I just don't feel like going out, in which he goes out by himself. If it's just the usual crowd of his friends I'm fine with it. That, and we live about a 10 minute walk from a bar and if I worry about him I can always drive over there to pick him up, LOL.
booo to mondays, but i do like that top as well. about the partying... i've got nothin' to hide, my bf knows how crazy i am, so i have no problem partying with him. hehe! ;P
Yes i agree :D that is a nice shirt. i love the cuffed capri and beige heels u paired it with. I love partying w my bf!! its true, its quite different than hangin w my gfs. i wouldnt say i do things i shouldnt b doin when im w my gfs.. its just different fun. thats y thres a balance when u can hang out w ur bf + gfs together.. just ur bf + his frenz.. and only u and gfs.
I'm really looking forward to add more ruffles in my closet. And mix and match it with something edgy to tone down the "girliness" a bit ;)

I'm with you on Mondays and I also covet that shirt. Ruffles and plaid make a beautiful couple.
I party more with my boyfriend than I do with anyone else. I prefer it sometimes since going clubbing with your girlfriends ONLY is kinda depressing since the club scene is packed with singles. Not depressing for ME however but I get sad looking at all the girls desperate for a man (and visa versa). I dunno, my guy is just a lot of fun!
PS Urban Behaviour! I oughta go there again, last time I went was in 2005!
