I am a recent fan of Marchesa as it is not as obviously well known around my locale as LV or Gucci, but I am quickly falling in love for Marchesa's romantic, fantastical designs. Take for instance this gorgeously feminine dress from the Spring 2010 Ready To Wear collection. Although it is entirely un-ready-to-wear, this beautiful creation makes my heart flutter with its voluminous petals of fabric and artistic use of purple shading. This dress reminds me of nothing more than an orchid flower, one of my favourite species of flower!

Pretty - marchesa i find has some hits and misses but with so many stars wearing it on the red carpet, they must be doing something right.
