Lust of the Week: Juicy Couture Faux Fur Jacket

I've never been a fur wearer, but there's no denying that fur defines glamourous. Fur also is very controversial. I've heard arguments for wearing real and for wearing faux and don't want to judge anyone by saying either way which I believe in. All I ask, is that we all can appreciate the beauty of this jacket and how soft it must feel against one's skin. Its soft, pastel tones is perfect for crisp winter days and would look perfect against black liquid leggings, or a bandage dress with tights. Do you think this jacket is a worthy investment, or a passing trend?

my friend has a similar short white faux fur jacket. The sex appeal is cranked up a 100 notches in that thing. It's sexy, classic and posh

I love my faux fur jacket.

And to quote Carmen Lomana: "If it's okay to eat chickens raised in a farm, why isn't it okay to wear mink raised in a farm". LOL horrible but funny.

i love faux fur. it's hard to say if its worth buying right now since winter's almost over, BUT it definitely could be worn on a chilly night out on the city. i still love it !

ps - you most definitely can wear sparkly bras out ! not on its own of course, but as an accent piece to peak through blazers, cardis, etc

Worthy investment since it's a neutral color - you'll be able to use it for years. Love!! :)

I agree that faux is the way to go, and I'm not even anti-fur. Just more affordable for the same look. Also, if you really love this jacket, I've seen Juicy's version for little girls which looks strikingly similar to this one for a lot less $. You could probably take a girls size 14!

Fur jackets seem to keep coming and going... but personally I wouldn't invest in this. I doubt I'd wear it very often!

I can't say I haven't been tempted to get a real fur coat... (couldn't bare the price though).. but for now I'm happy with faux-fur. They make em so realistic now that it's 'almost' unnecessary to buy real!

I'm doing a little giveaway, make sure to check it out!

love this jacket. but investing is a tough call, i say go to H&M! they're all on sale there, i got one a while back for like $30. it's not as nice as this one but it's almost spring and something equally fabulous will catch your eye then :)

I have a few fur pieces... and I know how controversial that is... But I bought them for their warmth in winter. I will not invest heavily in fur, but I enjoy the warmth and the look. That said, I don't think I will buy fur in the near future. Maybe vintage, though.
