Pink isn't pretty, it's got attitude

White tank: RW & Co
Muted pink cardigan: Plenty
Bandage skirt: Winners
Pink Tights: Urban Outfitters
Boots, clutch: Aldo

This is all sorts of bubble gum pink goodness. Who wants to look all cute and prim though? Not I, so I toned it down with some tough boots and a studded clutch. I find that outfits like these express my personality most fully with its mix of soft and hard elements. I'm a person who loves kawaii things and loves listening to k-pop and girly pop singers, but I also have a deep abiding love for alternative, emo, and gangster rap. Sometimes I feel perky, other days watch out. Some days I want to be perfectly classic like Rachel McAdams, others I feel more comfortable being more like Erin Wasson. Maybe this just means I'm bi-polar??

How was everyone's NYE??

I love all sorts of styles and elements, as well. Sometimes I feel like a badass [wannabe] and then a tooth fairy. Haha

I love the fact that you're always changing up your style - it keeps people on their toes. They never quite know what to expect from your wardrobe! Tres fab!

To answer your question regarding makeup when sick...a little blusher goes a long way. Pair it with some bronzer and you give yourself a healthy glow! :)

cute cardigan and pink tights! and happy new year to you. I don't think I ever expect you to look ONLY prim and proper or ONLY hard edge - your style is so diverse when it comes to life and it shows.

oh so chic. I like your hair...shows your lovely face. And it's very sophisticated.

PS you've been tagged to do an album cover ;-)

I was just about to say what D (dreamsequins) said about the ballerina with an edge! Love it! Also, I have that same Aldo pyramid studded clutch but the studs are black/gunmetal. I totally forgot I had it but your post reminded me! I'll have to look for it hahaha

Great outfit - love the tights and clutch! I keep telling myself I need to wear more edgy and trendy stuff before I get "old" but I'm not even bold enough to break out the colored tights.

oh wow! You made blush pink edgy. kudos to you. I was actually considering NOT buying pink for the reason it looks to young and pretty, but you, my dear, have changed my mind...
