Damn I wear these dumb boots too much. I can't help it though because my other black boots are entirely way too hooker for normal usage! I wore this a couple months ago to a Christmas party in Gastown for a work party. This "leather" dress is a great buy and is a perfect example of following your fashion instincts. I found this item in Montreal shopping by myself in a massively packed F21 on its opening weekend. What was I thinking eh? Montreal's F21 is highly superior to Vancouver's, which has much too much space dedicated to cheap, junky, hoodies and sequined crap. I saw this mini-dress while meandering my way to the accessories and it reminded me a lot of a dress that Angelina Jolie wore to an awards event. How could I resist since I am such a big Angelina lover?? While definitely more bad ass than my norm, this dress certainly heralds the current direction of my style and it fits like a dream.
Thanks to everyone for their comments on last week's outfit! I started taking outfit shots for myself only, but now it's become my most popular section! How random since I don't think I look anything special. Anyways you guys motivate me to be more creative so thank you! I forgot to post the second half of last week's outfit, which is sans coat, so here it is for your viewing pleasure:

This weekend is the opening weekend for the Olympics!! My goal is to spend as much time as possible soaking in the atmosphere and oogling all the visiting athletes. I've already seen delegates from Russia and Japan! And my coworkers ate lunch today 1 table away from Wayne Gretzky!!! For a Canadian, that is like... having a three-some with Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp. Hmm.. I'd still rather have the latter.
