Lust of the Week: East coast summer style via Lorick

Ever experienced those hot, muggy summer days where the sun spills out for days and the air is so thick and moist you could cut it like a cake and eat it? We don't get many of those on the West Coast, but I have experienced major heat before and weather like that calls for loose, breezy clothes that allow for air circulation. This summer and spring, I am feeling light, casual, tones and a loose, draped silhouette to my wardrobe. Looking at this lookbook photo from Lorick, I immediately feel transported to my vision of hot afternoons in the city, sipping lemonade at a street side cafe out of a icy tall glass, beaded with drops of water. Doesn't this look just whisper insistently of sophistication and class? So simple, so effortless. It's a call for minimalist chic that has me clamoring to answer.
