Too often, lovely earrings are neglected. If we have them, they sit tucked away in
our drawers and jewelry boxes, twinkling silently and wishing they could have a
chance to show themselves. And if we don’t have them, nobody pays attention to
our beautiful ears.
It’s easy to think that ears aren’t any big deal, but if there’s some visual interest
or bling up there, it will set off a chain reaction that draws attention to your neck,
your collarbone, your shoulders, your eyes . . . you get the idea. All your best
features become so much more evident when you slip on a pair of earrings.
For that reason alone, don’t be afraid to spice it up a little. So many women
throw on a ho-hum pair of studs or hoop earrings that do nothing to enhance
their outfits or showcase their faces. Instead, take a risk. Try these colorful
showstoppers ($325, Elizabeth Cole Jewelry):

If you want something a bit more refined but still complex and interesting, go for
these (Kelly Haas Glossy Earrings, $100):

Got a stuffy office party to attend? If you want to showcase some bling and flash
a little bit of cold while remaining conservative, try these beauties on for size
($71, 14k White Gold Hoop Earrings from Amazon.com):

On a budget? Never fear. These $31 Juicy Couture sparklers will add an edge to
any outfit ($31, Lightning Stud Earrings):
And what if money is no object? Well, sister, if that’s the case, give your lobesthe very best with these Tiffany masterpieces ($1,350, Elsa Peretti Round Drop
Earrings from Tiffany):

Never neglect your ears again, I say. Enjoy!

Very cool earrings! For whatever reason they are the jewelry I am most likely to notice. Maybe because they're right around the corner from the eyes.
I thought this post was going to be about haircuts--I wanted to share that after my haircut on Saturday, I need sunscreen on the tops of my ears. =)
Love the second pair. Drama!
And of course! The Tiffany's are 2die4!
How do I always zone in (unknowingly) on the most expensive things! Love those Elsa Perreti earrings!
Love those lightning bolt ones. Very Lady Gaga imo.
I adore all of them, very chic! xxx
I love Tiffany. They truly are timeless pieces
Great guest post! I used to have a huge collection of earrings but admit I tend to ignore them more than necklaces or cuffs. I love that second pair!
I really like the parrot earrings! Good find!
I'm just getting back to loving earrings since my ears are so sensitive to certain types of metals...it makes it harder to find cute ones that don't make me itchy. Love the lightning bolts! =)
Thanks for reminding me, my earrings have been gathering dust for a while =.=
