An amalgamation of late summer loves, and new fall musings, this inspiration board reflects the way I felt earlier this summer with my previous board. Looks like I'm still in love with neutral, pale tones and lady-like glamour. Good thing that the fall runways have been as well! How serendipitous!
Key elements featured here:
- Ivory, blush pink and grey
- Scalloped everything
- Lace and floral
- 50s style: full skirts and slim fitting sweaters, full hair, lips and winged eyeliner
- wide-legged pants
- defined waistlines
- gold
When shopping for your fall wardrobe this season, be sure to shop safe! Here are some helpful tips that have helped me, care of AVG:
- Look for the “https” in the URL. The “s” ensures security.
- A locked padlock icon in the address bar or on the bottom right corner means the site is approved by a trusted third party.
- A green Internet address bar means you are probably safe from phishing and online fraud, because it requires an ‘extended validation SSL certificate.’
- Shopping with trusted online sites or brands that have a safe reputation will likely offer more safety.
- Online security software is a must. You can get it free at for the PC or Mac

This is a very comprehensive board of fall fashion! My current wardrobe is lacking a number of the key elements, such as ivory and blush pink colors, as well as gold.
"lady-like glamour" The best kind! =)
LOVE IT! Thanks for posting!
agreeing with your lady like list 100% - especially scalloped everything! i think it's all really started by Mad Men. Loving Victoria beckham's 2011 collection too - so ladylike.
i recently had some trouble with an online purchase. I went through with the transction it seemed but the payment didn't go through. I emailed the vendor twice, called once adn the phone line was no longer in operation, and then now the website is down. i finally got hold of them today and cancelled the order. there's nothing more off putting than a bad online experience. oh well will spend my $ elseewhere
Very informative post, darling!
So helpful!
Plus, I am in LOVE with this collage!
Just bought that nude Rachel Pally dress in the center :)

P.S. I have a similar issue with thigh highs. I solve the prob by wearing them over tights for a more streamlined look - hope this helps!
great pics for fall i absolutely am going to look for neutral colors for this fall i lovee it.
I'm glad that soft, feminine looks are back in style. Funky and edgy can be cool for the moment, but the classic girly styles have stood the test of time. I'm loving the gray and blush combos!
Great list for fall fashion. I would love to get myself a 50's full skirt.
great tips about online security.
love the tips..
it helping..
Hey, many thanks for including AVG's note about extended validation ssl (I work for VeriSign). Sites that aren't encrypted with this really aren't worth your business; it requires a much more thorough background check than ordinary certs, and the green url bar can't be duplicated by phishers.
Another bonus - if the EV certificate was issued from VeriSign it also means that the site in question is free of malware, since many of our ssl certs now come with malware scanning. Just wanted to pass along these further tips to your readers. Happy shopping!
