Indivijual offers custom built sunglasses and prescription lenses for those who want their glasses to look like they were made just for them - because they were! Just fill in an extensive questionnaire about your style, physical appearance, and lifestyle, as well as take some sample photos - then mail it off and wait! In a couple weeks you'll receive a package with the perfect frames for you!
I've never been happy with how I look with glasses. I think they make me look super dorky and they hide my eyes, which are my best features. Looking at the specs that Indivijual sent me though, has got me pondering whether I should change my mind - perhaps some hipster frames with thigh-high stockings, a pleated mini, untucked button-down and grandpa cardigan are in order?
Which set do you think look best?

Can't afford custom frames? Here are some tips for picking frames for your face shape:
Oval -- Most styles look good on oval faces, so try either geometric or rounded frames.
Oblong -- Pick a curved or rounded style to emphasize the width of your face rather than the depth.
Round -- Squared or angled frames will help sharpen your features.
Triangular -- Aviator and geometric styles can add width to the lower part of the face.
Square -- Look for rounded, cat-eyed, or oval styles to soften the shape of your face.
Rectangular -- Curved or rounded styles will make your face appear wider.

IMO, the last pair looks the best.
The pair you've got now look good too though.
And in general, I also think you look better without glasses.
But hey, may as well experiment with it! It'll be fun!
oh finding glasses is such a chore for me because of my features and the fact that once the lenses are in (i'm almost blind) nothing looks the same anymore. nevertheless, i love playing with image programs that let me see how i'd look with them on. the last pair looks particularly good on you
I thought the allure of glasses was rooted in mystery. The thought that something even more amazing is underneath the glasses--like Clark Kent and Superman or a demure brainiac (but not the one from the Superman comics) who is also disturbingly beautiful. I guess the hipster approach blurs the line and allows the person to express more than just a single facet of their personality at once. That sounds like a good thing.
I've never thought about this before, so (as you can probably tell) I have no idea what I'm talking about!!! =)
I like the 3rd frames best. I love my glasses and I spent a butt load on them, but at the end of the day my contacts are so much easier. I should try wearing my glasses tomorrow.
I like the last set the best. Since I have poor vision IRL, I prefer to wear contacts after several years of torture wearing glasses. Even though now my frames (when I do wear glasses) are cool looking...I don't like wearing them in public. Geek chic is definitely in, but it's not for me. =)
I'm not a huge fan of the geek look, even on guys (maybe it's because I've always dated athletes?), especially if people solely use glasses as a fashion statement when they aren't needed (i.e. they use clear frames and don't even need glasses). Then again, I'd be wary of following any fashion trend started by Ugly Betty ;-) But I think you look cute in these - the last is my favorite, the first my least favorite pair.
I agree! they do make people look mucho sexy!

@Haute World: haha why must glasses only be reserved for the visually impaired? I think nowadays it's just like any other accessory. I can kinda see what you mean though as I'd never wear glasses if I didn't have to!
I heart geeky looks too!
And I like the first set the best, it's such a spunky colour.
You had me at "thigh-high stockings, a pleated mini". Glasses or not, every guy thinks thats hot.
I like the last pair on you. The shape suits your face shape and fits perfectly. Also, I'm a sucker for anything tortoise shell so I might be biased lol. yay for glasses though, I think you'll look good in 'em ;)
