Holiday Giveaway Bonanza part 1: House of Harlow earrings

Before I've even realized it, Christmas is a coming. Vancouver recently had its first snowfall and the city was covered in a lovely dusting of the white stuff. As beautiful as it is, I am old enough to realize how inconvenient snow is for things like holiday shopping! Yes, tis the season for overheated and overcrowded malls full of people brimming with holiday shopping pressure. It can all get a little exhausting, huh?

Well, I am here once again to give you a little joy this season! Similar to last year, I will be hosting a series of giveaways, one per week for my Holiday Giveaway Bonanza 2010!! Each week I'll announce the rules and someone will win! Also, if you happen to be so lucky as to win, you are still eligible to win again, so really, why wouldn't you enter??

Part 1 is brought to you by DesignerApparel.com, which is a shopping search engine that carries hundreds of popular brands. You can find anything from major labels like Cole Haan and Betsey Johnson, to smaller labels like Lora Piana! The prize this round are a pair of beautiful House of Harlow earrings - these spectacular beauties are guaranteed to make you 3x hotter than anyone else this year at the annual Christmas party. This year get noticed for your stylishness, rather than for drinking a bit too much punch and knocking over a Christmas party display (note: this is absolutely of course something this blogger would "never" do!)

To enter:
  • Leave a comment listing one way that you are high maintenance, e.g I am high maintenance because I never leave home without a full face of makeup and a spritz of perfume
  • Subscribe to my blog and be sure to tell me how you subscribe!
  • Follow me on Twitter!
Other rules
  • Open to US and Canada only
  • Contest ends at 12:00am PST, December 1, 2010

Good luck everyone and thank you for reading my blog! I really appreciate everyone who visits and leaves a comment - you guys are my inspiration for continuing to blog my best!

I am high maintenance because I must get my hair done, a Mani and a pedi, as well as my eyebrows threaded every two weeks. If all aren't done I don't do anything or go anywhere that cameras may be.

LOL, MizzJ you're silly! You give joy year-round. =)

I love shopping during the holiday season if I don't NEED to buy something. The pressure ruins it for me.

I am high maintenance because:
1. I have my husband warm the car up before I go out
2. My pajamas MUST get thrown in the dryer each night to make sure they are extra cozy
3. I must buy a new piece of clothing each week

I could really go on and on and on - but this might get me closer and closer a grave I care not to lay in.... shhhht its our little secret!

I promise - I'm a real nice girl :)

PS: of course I'm a follower of a fellow city-girl

- One way I'm high maintenance is I don't like to leave the house without makeup on. Whether it's just concealer & foundation some days or a full dolled up face, I have to do my makeup! hehe.

I am actually surprisingly low maintenance, which you would not expect from a fashion obsessed pr girl. haha.

But I am high maintenance when I go out, I have to curl my hair. My hair is SO straight and so flat, if I don't curl my hair I feel like I put in no extra effort for a night out.

I am high maintenance because I NEVER leave home without my Dior Flash makeup. Best stuff ever. I don't eat, so I can buy it.

I am high maintenance because I drag my husband shopping with him (my ride) and then I complain if he strays from me because I need him to answer questions like "Would this look good on me?" when I randomly find something I might like.

And I'm already a follower :)

I am HM because i always wear makeup, even just in the house, always have to have my hair straightened. I also refuse to wear non leather shoes. And doesn't my email say it all:

Great giveaway! I'm following on twitter and GFC.

I'm high maintenance because when I go out to eat with others, I expect them to pick a restaurant. But I complain if I don't like their picks until they go someplace I want to go.
