Cardigan: Urban Outfitters
Tights: Nine West
Booties: Spring
Wore this outfit awhile back to an event. It's always tricky dressing for events. Often times you're given the most vague of dress code descriptions and left to work with a "huh?" as your guide. Please PR writers, just be specific. If you want fancy, nothing wrong with a "dress to impress" as played out as it is. At least it's understandable! Much better than a "dress like you would to a secret lover's date in an English spring." Well, I made that one up, but can you imagine what it would be like to dress for that?? Maybe I should go into PR (j/k!)

i love your long cardi.....
I don't think I have a shirt ruffle-y enough for one, but I like the sound of a rendezvous at an English spring. You could do PR...or ad campaigns.
Love this cardigan
XOXO,

lol i kind of like the idea of dressing like an english lover's spring or whatever that was =P.
loving your makeup here even though the picture is so far away. I can tell you did a smashing job.
ps - i finally launched the new A Beautiful Life - come tell me what you think and please update your blogroll with my new URL http://abeautifullife.ca/
Love the combo, that grey sweater is great :)
haha, i tend to over dress for everything, and WHAT THE HEck you look so skinny! very jealous coz i gained so much over winter :(
You look gorgeous!
I never know how to dress for PR events either. I end up just going in whatever I'm already wearing on that day!

They should be more specific and leave all that fancy speak aside lol~
Ahh I adore your long cardigan! I gotta get one for myself, I'd imagine it to be very slimming (perfect for teapots like me haha)
Gorgeous look, darling!
Love your dress!

LOL - I think you SHOULD try your hand at writing dress code descriptions for events :)
I really like the dress - is it sleeveless? And a long cardi always brings together an outfit :)
I agree - invites are always a very vague description that can be interpreted so many ways!
Hmm I think with tumblr it's just a lot easier to share inspiration all the time, rather than create post after post or save it up to make a post on any blog?
Haha but for me I think I'm just finding it fun, trawling through thousands of new pics :)
want your cardi.
Lovely blog!
Hope we can follow eachother. :)

Dress codes are impossible to decipher, aren't they? Especially on the casual west coast.
You look great!

Very cute skirt!
maybe you SHOULD go into PR! haha! i know what you mean though - even to christmas banquets/valentines banquets/weddings/etc - i always find it vague and i never want to come over dressed! tricky tricky people.
woops, too many typos.
It's always better to dress up than to dress down is my golden rule. At least you'll stick out for a good reason.
very cute outfit. i've been wanting to try something from conversation pieces, i'll have to take another look...
From a guys prospective, I love the cardigan and the dress. Both a very great job. The outfit rocks :)
