Usually when I watch Gossip Girl, it's with 2 ears on the plot, 1 eye on the male hotties, and the other eye on the fashions. What caught my eye this week was the lack of overt cleavage on our fav blondie, Serena. Have they finally decided that yeah, maybe she should cover up a bit considering it's supposedly winter and FREEZING in NYC?! I don't know if I can handle this much reality on GG and this episode's fashions were positively attainable for regular people like myself. Take for example this admittedly designer chiffon sweater. Serena made this sheer sweater look both sweet and sexy with its cute snowflake pattern and an oddly demure black camisole underneath. What, all her super v-necks were in the wash? Either way, I'm smitten.

I was eyeing that sweater on Serena, thinking how good it looked considering it wasn't as sexy as her usual gear. It's actually not a bad price considering... hmmm... very tempting...
Omg, girl - this made me laugh so hard. I have started to really hate Serena on the show - this gorge Dolce & Gabbana sweater warmed me up to her a little, so I think as long as she's not opening her effing mouth and just looking pretty, she's okay.
The price really is good too - it's still not exactly winter in NYC with all the snow on the ground, but at least I don't have to wonder how her boobs are out when my nipples would have probably fallen off anymore!

(In response to your comment!) - So, I read Twilight this year for the very first time because I was curious about the hype (like, 5 years too late?). Girl - I could not even handle it. I thought it was awful, that it had this hidden agenda with the whole abstinence until marriage thing, and I thought that Edward, who girls are in LOVE with, was abusive and manipulative and 0% ideal!
You would have to torture me and cut out my eyes to make me include that on my list! :) Glad I'm not the only one who is horrified by it.
