Vaguely in my memory I seem to remember owning a pair of floral shorts a child. Like many things, let's not tell my mother that something I abhorred in the past has now come to haunt my sartorial dreams. In one instant, I can think that these floral shorts from Vancouver boutique Adhesif are at once ugly and lovely. Talk about confusing. I am quite intrigued though by the look of having a patterned bottom paired with a starkly minimalist top. A messy braid is always a covet-able thing as well, though frankly impossible at this moment for me with my shorter hair length. I can envision wearing these shorts in any number of combinations. Perhaps a trip to the Main St. location will be in order? Check out these and the rest of the spring collection online.

I agree. The whole flower trend happening is alluring but at the same time, I wonder if it's just the trend making them more appealing... I had a flower jumpsuit when I was 12. yuck. lol

It so much easier for guys. The only real decision on shorts is when to realize I don;t care how pale my legs are from the winter hibernation and just emjoy wearing my shorts again--all in solid colors.
One of my earliest memories involves hiding behind a tree from our beagle puppy--while I tried to figure out how to make it back inside the house without the dog ripping my shorts. She loved to jump up and grab them with her teeth--usually around my back pocket. Good thing they were loose or she might have gotten a piece of me too. =)
These are great! It's so crazy how clothing from your childhood comes back into fashion and somehow you are convinced that it looks good again! The retailers really do their jobs well.
I don't think I've ever owned a pair of floral shorts, though I do vividly remember owning a pair that featured palm trees (I was eight, I blame my mom). These are very cute!
ohhhh I was at Adhesif's fashion show several months ago! I love how they use recycled fabrics to create the pieces.

I think I also had a pair of (albeit really horrid) floral shorts as a kid too! Why did it look so fobby then, and look so chic and on-trend now?!? Sigh. The times. How they change?
