Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone

Sometimes I really do feel like doing what this blog title says.  This week doesn't look to be any less busy than the last and it all leaves me breathless that it is May already.  This week, I'll be hopefully attending some a local event on Bhangra, checking out some new food joints with friends, going to the Jin concert, and celebrating my friend's engagement!

Speaking of which, that leads me to my last weekend when I went to Vegas with a bunch of girl friends for my girl Mindy's staggette.  We all had a blast and getting some real quality girl time was something I much cherished, although I think I cherished returning to my bed for much needed sleep almost as much!  There's something about female relationships that are at once exhausting and yet so much more fulfilling than friendships with guys.  Your girl friends demand way more from you, yet they also support you in a way very different than men.  I don't have many girl friends, as I find the drama a bit too much and despite the fact that I'm a fashion blogger, I'm not the best at relating to "girly" people, so I really appreciate the girl friends I have.  To each of you, and you know who you are, we may not get to hang out as much as we'd like, but each of you truly holds a place in my heart and I feel so lucky to have you!

PS. This is the last week to enter my Karmin G3 giveaway! If you haven't heard of it by now, then what are you waiting for??

I can definitely relate. Not saying that all women cause drama, but I've noticed that it's hard to come across a group of women that are truly genuine to each other. So it's nice to hear that you cherish the group of "girl" friends that you have :)

I have like one girl friend lol and I feel like that's the only girl I' be super close to.

Omgosh, girl - I am so thrilled that there is another fashion blogger out there who isn't much of a girls girl. It wasn't until college that I actually enjoyed being with groups of girls - but unfortunately (and I'm setting feminism back YEARS with this statement), but I'd rather be around guys with no drama!
The weird thing is, that I cherish each and every female blogger I've encountered. Nice that there's a place without the drama, but still has good female camaraderie! :)

You are so beautiful and I absolutely love your style, my dear! xox

DITTO. I only really have one "best" girlfriend. I cherish her as I can't be bothered with extreme drama and would much rather eat good food and look at photos than gossip about nothing.

Can I just say that I love your outfit? :) I also can't get enough of your camera. Gimme!

I have a few amazing girls in Ottawa that I love very much. I had a great time with a few of them at the Toronto Alternative Fashion Week last week and that was a very memorable trip. a good girl friend is so much more than a guy friend

As I get older..it is harder and harder to meet special/close girlfriends....I just don't have the time to put into it I guess.

Very cute! It's funny, I also find that my friendships with girls take more energy. But since I'm a guy, I miss out on much of the drama...but not all. =)

that's sooo true about girlfriends. I'm a lot like you in that way - sometimes I like to just retreat to my own world. However when i do go for a girls night out, I always enjoy them.

I'm not about drama and i don't actually have a 'pack' of girlfriends - i'm more about the one on one quality friendships. So drama doesn't usually come into play.
