Dance me to your beauty, with a burning violin

White tee: gifted
Dress: gifted, Circle Moon designs?
Leggings: Zara
Shoes: Toms

I was rummaging around in my drawers and found this dress again after literally not touching it for a year.  Does anyone else ever do that?  A good closet purge more often for me opens up my eyes to new opportunities to how to recycle current clothes and I end up keeping probably way more than I should.  The last few months my exercise routine has been thrown out of wack due to events and then hockey madness.  Now that it's all over, it's time to get back down to business!

So adorable! And yes, rummaging and discovering old favorites (or things that were just never worn... just because) is even better than shopping. xx

Keeping the dress was a good choice, very pretty. You missed an opportunity to get a great workout right after the hockey game. That guy jumping on the police car burned quite a few calories--not to mention the folks turning over cars. It's a shame so few can cause so much trouble.

Cute Dress! I always clean my wardrobe and find clothes that I haven't worn in a while.... and then it's like TA-DA!!! New outfit time! hahaha

I just did a good closet purge and left SO much at my parent's place in NYC. I'll have to do round 2 next time!

Happy weekend dear!

I did a huge closet purge thanks to a recent clothing swap event coming up in Montreal where I got rid of about 30 items (including jewellery and shoes, I must add). I also discovered some things I had not touched before! It's amazing how much stuff we accumulate in our lifetime.

Cute dress! I'm definitely guilty of forgetting about clothes only to find them years later in a box or at the back of my closet. It's almost lilke finding a new item sometimes, though I'm currently trying to take inventory of everything I own.

Adorable dress! It looks perfect on you. I have SO many things I don't wear but should. I've found so many great things in my giveaway pile.

P.S. Thanks for your comments. I really like your blog! I feel like I've been here before, but I'm not sure. But I suppose that doesn't matter. I'll be back!

Cute dress! If the clothes get too old or ratty even for goodwill, you can donate them to Our Social Fabric in Vancouver. They re-purpose old fabric (stuffing pillows, making yoga bags, etc).

When I started my blog over a year ago..all I was trying to do was closet dive and find things to "re" discover. Love when you find something adorable like you little dress...perfect for summer...and adorable like a jumper, as you have it.
Have a great week.
