LA trip recap *pic heavy*

Los Angeles.  The city of angels was pretty good to me, though by the end I dearly missed the comfort of my own bed.  It was everything I'd hoped for, hot sun, good eats, and good times!  I definitely got a taste of the LA lifestyle and I have to say, it isn't so bad!  Maybe I'll have to add LA along with Honolulu to my list of acceptable US cities to live in ;)

Partying it up, LA style!  From sun down to sun up, literally.

Probably about as close to anything resembling Johnny Depp as I'll ever be

Millions of peaches, peaches for me

My heart will go on!

Not sure why I'm rubbing his belly, he's not Buddha, so it's not good luck!

Largest cupcake I've ever seen

Cute Sanrio art in Japan LA boutique

A rainbow of macarons

...and eclairs

...and fruit tarts!

The very cute Mimi, who seems to have an affinity for shoving her head into my Toms

Delicious and mysterious unknown Korean seafood soup at a Koreatown drinking hole beats french fries any day

Me unsuccessfully tanning at Zuma beach

American sized burgers from In N' Out.  The name of this fast food chain is as cruelly funny as it is accurately true.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP: TACO TRUCK TACOS

Next up in the trip recap is my LA trip shopping haul! Stay tuned!

All these pictures are absolutely amazing - I love the Colossal Crumb cupcake! My parents actually got me one for my birthday this year - obviously to split with about 100 people.
You and your friends are so beautiful and I absolutely LOVE all these pictures! :)

Does "cruelly funny" mean the In N' Out burgers gave you what I've taken to calling a big mac attack?

Yes Canada is full of funny people. LOL!

Your food pictures really got my attention--I love peaches; am eager to try macarons; love eclairs and tarts (and do my best to avoid them); and I've never had the nerve to buy from a taco truck. A hotdog wagon made me sick once and I'm a little gun-shy after that.

People who start out looking good on the beach don't need to tan!

hahhaha, "ist of acceptable US cities to live in" !
That definitely made me laugh. lol
I'm glad you like LA, so do I :) No matter how far away I live away from it, I will always call it my home <3 Not sure when I'll be back to call it my permanent address again, but I know that I'm going to settle down in SoCal, anywhere else is not an option. lol

First time on my blog - so quick intro, my names Dana :)

I look forward to seeing you haul post!

<3,
Dana

the food looks great esp. the burgers and tacos.
Loved that you and your gfs all dressed in coordinating outfits to go out.

I can't say that I love LA (I think I'm much more of a northern cali kind of girl) but I honestly haven't been there in years. Looks like a great girls trip.
