Swag Brag: LA trip finds

Here's my shopping haul post FINALLY from LA.  I've actually already worn almost everything I bought here, as well as broken and lost some things.  Doggie nail stickers, I miss never having gotten to use you!

I've been on a ring kick lately as I realized it's the only part lacking in my accessory collection.  One lesson I learned though: fingers swell in the heat, so that cute owl ring that fit perfectly in LA may be a bit loose in Vancouver.  Note to self: do not swing arm expressively.  Also pictured is my highly discounted Tory Burch silk scarf - thank you Palm Spring outlet!

Another lust satisfied: tortoise-shell sunglasses in a slightly nerd-chic shape via Nordstrom Rack. Get this too, they're actually men's glasses! What grown-ass man has such a small face?!

Replacement peep-toe, sexy black heels from Chinese Laundry

$10 dress from Fashion District!! Highly recommend if you hit LA.  This neighborhood of night-market style shops sell tons of cheap stuff before they hit stores.  If you look carefully, you'll see I already busted a shoulder strap.  Yes, my boobs are that large - KIDDING.

Another Fashion District find: a perfect over-sized blouse in blush. I've been wearing this nonstop.

J. Brand skinnies

Collage!! My shoes, jeans, and NEW MARC JACOB bag!!  Bought this baby kind of on a whim at Nordstrom.  I loooove the red lambskin and gold chain hardware.  This is like a funky Chanel don't you think?

So that's everything I brought back from LA. Not pictured here: the fat I gained from eating tacos and ungodly large hamburgers!

I love everything about this post - I laughed out loud with the grown men with small faces comment - you're hysterical! :) Those are SUPER cute glasses though - and I'm loving that Marc Jacobs bag (and of course I'm a denim whore and am OBSESSED with J Brand skinnies in every color - those are GORGEOUS!). You have amazing style, and everything about this post is making me want to go shopping! xox

How exciting!!
I am amazed by how good shopping in the states is. I came back to Vancouver with an extra suitcase filled with $30 pairs 7 for all mankind jeans after my holiday in Florida.
How I wish shopping was this good in Van. *Shakes fist at 12% tax!!!*

I have a matching owl necklace! =) It's one of my favorites in my jewelry box.

Tortoise shell is a favorite of mine as well. All my sunglasses (that I bought myself) are tortoise shell. Just love the look!

Am in love with your rings, they are so cute!!!

I love red bags, sadly they don't match everything =[

@monica: get them!! They are surprisingly comfy considering I bought them a size smaller (they stretch 1/2 size apparently).

@Blair: sure they do! Red goes great with black, white, denim, beige, pink, purple...one just has to be brave with color combinations :)
